Key Responsibilities

ï‚· Perform all assigned activities and job tasks as directed by supervisor in a safe and efficient manner to meet or exceed daily safety, quality, food safety, and production goals.

ï‚· Perform routine and non-routine cleaning of specific pieces of equipment, buildings, and site.

ï‚· Maintain accurate records of PMs, other sanitation activities, and scrap destruction

ï‚· Complete all documentation in an accurate/quality matter

ï‚· Understand production schedules, production computer systems, work instructions and production inventories.

ï‚· Complete all required safety, quality, and food safety training

ï‚· Adhere to all GMP’s (bump caps, ear plugs, safety shoes, uniforms, etc.)

ï‚· Additional duties and responsibilities throughout the plant as assigned by Supervisor

Functional/Technical Skills

ï‚· Operating mobile equipment (Forklift, scissor lift, boom lift, floor scrubber, cart)

ï‚· Handling and dispensing of hazardous chemicals

Key Functional Skill/Knowledge

ï‚· Able to stand on a concrete floor for long periods of time

ï‚· Capable of working at elevated heights

ï‚· Wearing proper personal protective equipment (hair net, bump cap, ear plugs, safety shoes/chemical boots, slicker suit, and uniform)

ï‚· Bending, stooping, twisting, turning, standing for extended time periods, reaching, climbing stairs and ladders, and lifting to 50lbs

ï‚· Able to adapt to temperature and environmental extremes such as hot, cold, dust, dirt, noise, working at heights, working with chemicals as well as offensive sights and/or odors.

Experiences

ï‚· 2 years of work experience within manufacturing, or a technical and/or trade discipline

ï‚· Demonstrated competency in computer and PC software including MS Word, Excel, & E-mail

ï‚· Associate must be able to work varying shifts and schedules

ï‚· Ability to understand and effectively communicate in the English language

Education

ï‚· Be 18 years of age or older

ï‚· Have a High school diploma, GED or equivalent education
