THE ROLE

Matific is seeking an experienced Salesforce Developer to join our development team in Sri Lanka as part of our new and exciting tools group.

This will involve working closely with our Sales, product and development teams to create easy to use Salesforce tools and interfaces, bring joy and happiness to students worldwide and build and enhance our public websites. Given the start-up nature of the company, you will need to be flexible and inventive in the delivery of your outcomes.

This role is based out of our office in Colombo.

Responsibilities

• Designing and building Salesforce pages, flows and integrations
• Communicate with marketing, Sales and Business Development teams to understand requirements
• Troubleshooting content issues and assist Marketing / Business Development teams
• Responsible for developing customised and standard solutions that supports business requirements
   

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or related field or equivalent experience
• At least 4 years’ Salesforce design and development experience working across the full development and operational support life cycle
• Good understanding of front-end technologies, including HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, jQuery
• Experience with Salesforce Pardot.
• Experience building user interfaces for websites and/or web applications - a plus
• Expertise in Salesforce Configuration & Administration, Workflow, Triggers, Process Builders, Visualforce, Apex coding
• Good understanding of Salesforce security model and data model
• Experience in building Lighting Web Components using both LWC and Aura frameworks
• Experience is using asynchronous features in Salesforce (using both custom and standard methodologies)
• Experience integrating SOAP and RESTful Web Services and web hooks..
• Knowledge of software development and Agile development methodology.
• Knowledge in Python - a plus
• Experience working with remote teams, working collaboratively across team boundaries
• Comfortable working with debugging tools like Firebug, Chrome inspector, etc.
• Ability to understand CSS changes and their ramifications to ensure consistent style across platforms and browsers
• Knowledge of how to interact with RESTful APIs and formats (JSON, XML)
