Job Summary

The Associate Project Manager (APM) assists Evernorth Sales and Account Management teams through prospect sales and client retention processes. The team works closely in cultivating tailored, dynamic materials and digital assets using the challenger methodology to enable new sales growth and client retention. The APM executes internal processes to make strategic recommendations while supporting activities in partnership with marketing, presenters and subject matter experts to build the experience for bid support.

The APM also assists the team with administrative tasks such as team reporting (MS Excel, SharePoint, and proprietary tools) as well ad hoc projects as requested by leadership.

Candidates must be able to multitask, manage tight deadlines, and communicate effectively, while possessing enterprise agility, resourcefulness, and adaptability.

This position is with Evernorth, a new business within the Cigna Corporation.

Essential Functions

Project Management:

• Owns and project manages finalist support for Evernorth clients and prospects
• Partners with sales to create and execute opportunity-specific strategy
• Build opportunity-specific experience for bid support (meetings, video conferencing, site visits, lab visits, web demos, leadership interactions)
• Reviews bid related history
• Partners with client enablement teams to infuse consisting messaging across all buying journey channels
• Monitors and analyzes data to inform selling efforts
• Executes ad hoc projects as requested by leadership

Administrative:

• Maintains team process documents in conjunction with project managers
• Serves as team reporting liaison
• Distributes finalist activity to leadership at regular cadences
• Develops team process documents as needed
• Partners and coordinates logistics and production with project managers as needed

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent
• 3-5 years relevant experience
• Experience with software applications such as Access, Excel or other PC based database tools.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills, (i.e., presentation and written, listening, phone).
• Strong analytical, planning, problem identification and resolution skills required.
• Effective communication with internal and external individuals in various functional areas and at all levels of management.
• Ability to plan for and integrate multiple tasks concurrently as well as work independently with minimal direction.

This role is Flex/WFH which allows most work to be performed at home or on occasion at a Cigna office location. Employees must be fully vaccinated if they choose to come onsite.

For this position, we anticipate offering an annual salary of $64,300 - $107,100, depending on relevant factors, including experience and geographic location.

This role is also anticipated to be eligible to participate in an annual bonus plan.
