Job Purpose and Impact
The Sales Operations Analyst – Commercial will develop and provide significant business insights to help business leaders make better decisions. In this role, you will perform various functions including monitoring, optimizing, handling the performance of metrics within your assigned area and using data backed hypothesis to propose, prioritize and advance performance initiatives and projects. You will demonstrate familiarity with strong business processes, data management and decision support.
Key Accountabilities
- Data extraction, collection, cleansing and preparation for consumption.
- Drive reporting through the use of available technology (Tableau, Power BI, Alteryx, SAP) and develop technical solutions for an effective, efficient data analytics platform.
- Respond to complex ad hoc data requests.
- Ensure timely and accurate data models that provide management information and analyze performance (key performance indicators, metrics).
- Identify and communicate commercial business impacts through analysis, providing transparency, interpretations, and solutions to leaders.
- Develop, with colleagues, detailed understanding of our customer relationships and establishing a 360-degree view of their business.
- Independently handle complex issues with minimal supervision, while escalating only the most complex issues to appropriate staff.

Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience
- Minimum four years of business analyst/finance or related work experience
- Design and development experience with reporting tools and applications
- Experience in extracting data from relational database engines and other applications
Preferred Qualifications
- Background in continuous improvement
- Proficiency with reporting, data visualization, extract, transform and load, database management (SQL Server, Hadoop/Cloudera)
- Experience with Agile, Scrum or similar
- Experience in moderately advanced metric production architectures and solution enablement
- Ability to communicate and provide significant business insights to key stakeholders. Making sense of complex data recommendations
