JOB DESCRIPTION
As Sales Manager you will work in close cooperation with the Sales department & Director of Sales and Marketing. Your customers will be local SME, international companies, associations and sport groups
.Your responsibilities will include:
• Work smart – think hard mindset taking into account Market Analytics and Market Research around customers, competitors and general market trends• Identifying Target Accounts, Opportunities & Customer Priorities, building solid Account Plan and identifying/approaching Key Stakeholders, Champions and Decision Makers• Ensuring repeat purchase orders by understanding customer buying decisions making process & patterns• Leading price & contract negotiations to successfully close customer deals• Demonstrate interest in the meeting (and corporate) industry participating in conferences organized by business circles• Utilizing all available sales tools to maximize sales efficiency• Promoting the hotel services remotely using all available technology and physically• Planning and executing multi-channel sales campaigns in collaboration with Marketing (automated mailings, web campaigns with tracking & call to action)• Conducting regular Business Reviews with Director of Sales & Marketing• Communicating & aligning on a regular basis with field sales force and local Marketing organization and with the other Remote Sales Representatives (Wyndham Hotels and Resorts)• Attending all relevant sales meetings
Must haves:
• Passion for people and hospitality (mainly mice) industry• Be an engaged team player• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent• Fluent in Dutch, French and English• At least 5-year sales experience with customers.• Highly developed listening skills and open-mindedness• Digital savviness• Be self-motivated, flexible, quick learner, analytic thinker• Ability to build relationships and be a problem solver• You are able to quickly “grasp business environment• Strong negotiation skills and ability to close deals with customers• Strong presentation/communication skills over the phone and through video calls• Experience in opportunity qualification, pre-call planning, and time management• Willingness to travel to neighbor countries when needed
