Purpose of the role:

To ensure the Sales Ledger Admin team, operate consistently across their respective areas and ensure accuracy of data maintenance across the Sales Ledger for Customer and Suppliers.

To identify and recommend productivity, efficiency and procedural improvements, that support optimising business opportunities and business profitability. To improve our customer experience both internally and externally.

Job Description:

What you’ll be doing:

  • Review all Sales Ledger Admin processes and procedures, to help introduce better ways of working, that result in improving both productivity and efficiencies.
  • Review of a monthly RAG status, which monitors the KPI performances, of each area.
  • Ensuring that all areas have robust and stringent operational procedures in place, to help mitigate financial risks.
  • To ensure day to day activities are managed, maintained and monitored, on a weekly/
  • monthly basis as required.
  • Ensure all Sales Ledger activities, are accurately recorded in a timely manner and all activities are completed to meet Month End requirements
  • Mentor, develop, as well as managing underperforming team members
  • To identify and report any Risk breaches and or Non-Compliance activities, with Sales Ledger Admin.

  • Supervisory experience
  • Demonstrate excellent Communication and People skills
  • Performance Management
  • Demonstrate the ability to work under pressure and to tight deadlines
  • Numerate and logical with a strong attention to detail
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office applications including; Word, Outlook and Excel demonstrating Intermediate to Advanced Excel skills
  • AAT qualified
