The Sales and Education Coordinator (SEC) reports to the Regional Sales Manager and is responsible for in store sales and training within designated territories and can effectively execute in-store events. This person will also be responsible for selling, educating and scheduling of Independent Contractors to support stores. The SEC will lead cluster trainings, develop store management relationships, and motivate instore sales teams and effectively drive sales through side by side selling in stores within the territory. This role is located in the Long Beach/LA California area.
Essential Job Duties
Work collaboratively with Regional Sales Managers and/or Senior Account Executive to execute and exceed annual sales goals
Host weekly instore events according to corporate guidelines
Side-by-side selling with instore teams
Capable of training cast, beauty advisors and Independent Contractors on First Aid Beauty products and selling techniques
Ensure in-store visuals and merchandising standards are met
Educate stores with consistent brand message
Schedule Independent Contractors for events and in-store support
Manage allocated Independent Contractor budget
Manage allocated T&E budget
Manage stock levels
Submit weekly reports for assigned territory
Partner with Senior Account Executive and Regional Sales Manager to build positive relationships in-store with key stakeholders
Work alongside Regional Sales Manager and/or Senior Account Manager to meet in-store visit cadence objectives for each retail partner
Strict adherence to corporate administrative policies
Qualifications
A minimum of a high school diploma, GED or equivalent education
Previous experience working with skincare sales within the Sephora and Ulta stores
2-3 years of sales experience in the cosmetics industry
Experience educating beauty advisors in a retail environment
Excellent communication and organizational skills
Prior experience with event planning and execution within a retail environment
Knowledge of skincare ingredients and awareness of product positioning
Previous experience building relationships with store management
Willingness/flexibility to travel up to 15%
Must be willing to work Tuesday – Saturday with ½ office day weekly
Skilled with the use of Microsoft Office Suite
Able to multi-task and be flexible to business need changes
Must live within commuting distance as no relocation benefit is provided
