Job Purpose:
Financial support of SMB sales activities, ensuring that all decisions and actions taken are financially and commercially sound and in line with the company's objectives.
- Business Partner role supporting the SMB Indirect Partner sales channel.
- Evaluation of bespoke models/commercial proposals and pricing bids to guide sales to deliver channel targets.
- Month end reporting (financial & channel performance).
- Post Implementation Reviews to report profitability on SMB Indirect Partner accounts
- Participation in regular Sales Management Conference Calls / Meetings
- Drive collaborative relationships with the SMB Indirect Partner sales teams, presenting and promoting best practice in commercial decision making.
- Provide commercial acumen and on-board training to Partner Sales teams
- Provide channel heads of SMB Indirect & Finance with recommendations/take action to improve channel performance
Key Accountabilities:
- Responsible for providing financial and pricing support to SMB Indirect Sales channels
- Ownership of all regional sales prospects, requiring effective prioritisation of pricing requests and demanding deadlines to grow market share and revenue of O2.
- Evaluation of bid responses for complex bespoke pricing bids and influencing sales to drive the right volume and value business for O2.
- Benchmarking analysis by sourcing & validating relevant data to provide tariff recommendations.
- Analysing and reporting Customer data to summary level for senior management decision making, including reporting against finance and sales targets, giving performance related feedback.
- Providing commercial analysis to improve the profitability of our SMB Indirect sales channel
- Using a collaborative approach, build wider business relationships, managing stakeholders, working with finance, marketing service and sales teams to introduce improved policies to focus on delivery of sales targets.
- Attend customer specific pricing review calls.
- Approval of contractual credits / payments
The must haves:
- Part Qualified/ Finalist level ACCA/ CIMA
- Financially & commercially very strong to appreciate the financial, commercial design and return potential of complex contracts
- Good presentation and communication skills
- Ability to prioritise & work to tight deadlines
- Excellent analytical skills – particularly on MS Excel and Access
- 2 years experience in a customer relationship role, involving ownership and development of the relationship.
- Self-motivated with minimal need for direction or supervision
