The Role

Stock Plan Services Sales is looking for a top-notch internal sales associate. This role is responsible for developing and qualifying B2B leads for prospective new capitalization table and equity compensation administration clients. Working independently to develop, target and building a business plan for a national territory.

As an entry level institutional sales position, you will be primarily responsible for prospecting and pursuing in-bound and outbound leads of prospective new capitalization table and equity compensation administration clients. Working in a team-based atmosphere, responsible for developing and maintaining positive relationships with the SPS Business Development Officers and Account Executives.

The Expertise We’re Looking for and The Skills You Bring

  • Bachelor's Degree
  • Progress towards MBA or CEP a plus
  • 3-5 years of financial services experience
  • Use of CSS, Richardson model, or other advanced language skills shown in a previous role
  • FINRA Series 7 & 63 required (can attain in role)
  • Solid understanding of the capitalization table and equity compensation industries
  • Shown Salesforce, Project, Time Management, and Language skills
  • Proven Sales, Presentation and Negotiation skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work independently in a fast-paced sales environment
  • Resiliency
  • Developing prospects from proactive phone calls and marketing efforts
  • Uncovering new opportunities to present SPS products
  • Crafting and handling relationships with Business Development Officers and Account Executives
  • Encouraging and strengthening business relationships with centers of influence (COI)
  • Delivering and applying consistent sales process to effectively develop territory
  • Growing the number of capitalization table and equity compensation plans sold
  • Possessing the desire to move into a commissioned base, Account Executive role

The Team

Responsible for developing relationships, leading them into our sophisticated sales process, acting as the initial contact, and subsequently being involved in multiple contacts through phone calls, and other marketing efforts, up to the point at which the prospect is willing to move forward.
