Job Description

Job Summary

As Sales Analyst, you will maintain data and reporting for our Sam's Club sales team. You will gather data through multiple sources to create reports to support sales reviews, customer business reviews, trends, pricing, and item distribution, while driving insights and action items. You will also assist with trade management and forecasting. You will report to the Senior Sales Director of our Sam's Club sales team.

Position Responsibilities:

Retail/Sales

  • Maintain standardized reports using raw data (Madrid, Retail Link, IRI)
  • Maintain our team's promotion calendar which includes ISB/TPR/OMP/Demo
  • Provide current sales trend information and analysis to support development of the team's customer plan
  • Provide analytics on events and new item rotations performance

Finance & Analytics

  • Use syndicated data (i.e. IRI) and appropriate tools to identify trends in market share and distribution to grow the business
  • Manage our team's pricing impact tracker and provide important call outs
  • Monitor Customer Service Center accuracy with trade events
  • Report and analyze on planned versus volume variances by using trade event analysis reporting

Administrative

  • Asist in customer top to top meeting preparation
  • Review customer site for item ratings and reviews
  • Update new items in customer system
  • Keep systems/reporting updated (Power BI)
  • Coordinate meetings with Customer Business Managers

You Have:

  • Bachelor's Degree required
  • 1+ year of experience in a broker or sales support role
  • Proficiency in MS Office
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including pivot tables with slicers to manage large datasets , V-lookup, list functions (sum, average, subtotal), and conditional formatting
