Your role will be to perform patient safety benefit/risk assessments in relations to manufacturing quality incidents and make recommendations for the management and communication of risks in accordance with applicable procedures and regulations. Key responsibilities: You perform medical safety assessments of manufacturing quality incidents in support of the process for managing safety and manufacturing quality incidents. You perform safety signals management activities in support of the process for managing safety and manufacturing quality incidents. You manage manufacturing investigations of safety signals as needed You are the safety contact person for manufacturing quality escalations.
You participate to quality escalation meetings (e.g., Product Incident Committees) and safety escalation meetings (e.g., Safety Review Team meetings) You collaborate with SERM safety product specialists to provide medical assessments for manufacturing quality incidents. You collaborate with TERM team members to support different manufacturing sites and products as needed. You collaborate with TERM toxicologists to support toxicological assessments for incidents and studies as needed. You provide support for GMP and GVP inspections and audits as needed. Why you? Basic Qualifications: We are looking for professionals with these required skills to achieve our goals: Medical Doctor (M.D.) Previous experience in the pharmaceutical industry working in Clinical Development, Medical Affairs, Pharmacovigilance, or a related field. Good knowledge of GMP, GVP or GCP regulations. Ability to manage crisis, monitor safety issues and work under pressure with a customer and solution-oriented approach. Able to prioritize activities effectively and to meet multiple deadlines successfully with attention to detail, setting high performance standards for quality Demonstrate initiative and creativity in performing task and responsibilities. Proactively contributes ideas to improve existing operations Excellent mastery of English, written and spoken with strong communication and influencing skills. Computer literate, familiar with using scientific and clinical databases and ability to perform at least basis statistical analyses. Good administrative skills, analytical mind. Collaborative working skills Preferred Qualifications: Specialized in Infectious Diseases or Epidemiology Knowledge of French is an asset. Why GSK?
