Job Description

Position Overview:

Assist SES Department in preparation for the OSHA Voluntary Protection Program recertification audit. Contractor Process (update database, training records, review paperwork, assist with training contractor), ISO 45001 audit, Increase associate participation in Safety Management Program and Safety Behavior Process

Function Related Activities/Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct risk assessment to LOTO, Hot Work, Confined Space, Contractor, Electrical Hazardous, Work at Height, Hazardous material, Compressed air.
  • Conduct new employee, temps and contractor training
  • Review of the current Forklift Safety Program; make recommendations to Leadership Team
  • Revising and creating procedures for Safety Management Program and place them in EtQ for review.
  • Evaluation of Contractors at Northampton; update the database of approved contractors at Northampton.
  • Support SES Department in Voluntary Protection Program (VPP) process including conducting area inspections and/or audits; track findings to completion; assist with training associates on VPP.
  • Incident investigation, Root Cause and CAPA

Education Requirements:
Bachelor Degree – Environmental Science, Engineer Science

10h OSHA

40h OSHA Preferable

Fall Protection Competent Certification

Confined Space Competent Certification

Forklift Certify (Trainer)

Related Work Experience:
6 to 1 year work as Safety Coordinator

Functional Skills:

  • Excel, Word, Powerpoint
  • ETQ
  • SAP
  • Kosmos
