As part of their digital transformation strategy, VirginMediaO2 has established an Automation Centre of Excellence (CoE) to execute the automation of their customer-facing and back office processes. These business processes must be executed faster with the aid of Automation toolsets, with accuracy and in some cases, in real time in order to support end-to-end digital customer journeys. The Automation CoE is responsible for the automation of VirginMediaO2 processes to support this strategic initiative.

From this perspective, the Automation CoE is a critical capability which will enable the business to transform its business model and support digitisation and vast operational efficiencies.

 

About the Role:

In this role you will become the Jira Reporting analyst and Confluence administrator for the Automation CoE capability and projects. You must understand project and programme level development and testing reporting add-in toolsets and their use cases as well as the structure of the Jira data, how to use it and how to best to capture use cases or any other relevant information.

 

You will also create and maintain reporting for production SLAs and KPIs as well as providing reporting dashboards for track benefit realisation

 

Excellent data management requires a knowledge of how to configure and customise the Jira and Confluence areas of the VMO2 Automation space.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • You will ensure all the requirements are captured and user stories of all projects stakeholders for the use of reporting
  • You will create the data attributes in Jira to use in the Programme reporting solution and ensure it is viable to adhere to a unified structure
  • You will create the Automation reports using VMO2’s Jira’s tenancy
  • Ensure dashboards are created in Jira to articulate burn-down, burn-up, team velocity as well as defects
  • Ensure dashboards are created for the Automation pipeline of new development opportunities and front door
  • You will work with the Automation CoE Scrum Masters, developers, analysis SMEs and Test resources, to ensure the Automation reports are available in a timely manner
  • You will create reports and dashboards that track the business benefit profile for each Automation project as well as the overall Automation service
  • You will facilitate consolidated production support reporting that highlights key business KPIs and SLAs, some of which is captured through both BluePrism and RPA Supervisor toolsets

 

Key Skills:

  • You will have proven experience working with Jira and Confluence
  • You will have proven experience working with Jira data to produce programme and Sprint level reports
  • You will have experience using tools including MS Project
  • Knowledge of Automation project methodology would be advantageous
  • You will have excellent reporting presentation skills
  • You will understand how to capture requirements and user stories for development
