EQUANS are recruiting for a Roofing Supervisor to be based in Kent, the areas of travel include but are not limited to Ashford and Tonbridge. This is a permanent full-time role working 40 hours per week. On offer is a competitive salary, company vehicle and benefits package.

The position reports to the local business unit and will develop and maintain excellent working relationships with internal customers and external customers/Organisations. Working across various projects and contracts undertaking roofing safety inspections on direct labour, agency staff and contractors ensuring that ENGIE comply with current regulations, standards and manufacturer’s instructions. 

What will you deliver?

• Undertake post, complete and work in progress inspections of roofing operatives carrying out work for ENGIE as required - Inspections will be prioritized in order of high-risk areas either in terms of H&S, complexity of work, K.P.I failure or shortfall, previous poor performance
• Work with the QS team to help provide the best contractor for the best price to get the works done in a high standard
• Work with the Senior QS to ensure we have the highest standard of work for the correct price
• Control and monitor the allocation and use of all plant and vehicles used by the operatives in their work. Ensuring always the correct use and maintenance of these items by the operatives to maximise efficiency and minimise costs
• Liaise with the Client via the computerised system where it is impossible for the work to be carried out in the agreed manner due to circumstances beyond our control, such as a request for a variation
• Responsible for scheduling and programming follow-on works including material ordering, diarising appointments and ensuring customers are informed of revised appointment times in accordance with priority response times

• Previous trades experience
• Experienced in pit and flat roofing
• Current and Valid Full & Clean UK driving licence
