Please review the following job description:

Provide first line of defense support for all business segments in Banking Operations to ensure effective and timely execution of enterprise risk programs and risk reporting. Through evaluation, controls and reporting, ensure the division is executing on its first line of defense responsibilities by assisting in execution of all aspects of the risk program and reporting deliverables.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Following is a summary of the essential functions for this job.  Other duties may be performed, both major and minor, which are not mentioned below.  Specific activities may change from time to time. 

Any or all of the following responsibilities may be performed as assigned.

Provide support of a wide array of enterprise risk program deliverables (including, but not limited to, Risk and Control Self-Assessment programs, Issues Management program, Internal/External Loss Event programs, Business and Technology Continuity Management program, Enterprise Change Risk Management program, and Risk Appetite Framework)

Assist in completion of enterprise risk program deliverables through direct execution  and coordination with resources within Banking Operations Risk Management or the business units within Banking Operations

Assist in the aggregation, escalation, and presentation of risk reporting for Banking Operations, including the support for Risk Committees, risk working groups, regulatory updates, and other special assessments and reporting as directed by the Risk Program Execution and Administration Senior Manager or the Business Unit Risk Manager

Support a robust, high-quality issues management oversight program to proactively identify risk related to the timely and effective remediation across the division.

Support the Policy and Procedure documentation process within the PPM system across the division providing guidance and support to business unit contacts in adherence with enterprise program standards.  Coordinate the development and/or timely update of policies, standards and procedures

Assist in the fulfillment of Senior Business Continuity Coordinator responsibilities on behalf of Banking Operations ensuring proper incident management coordination and reporting and adherence to overall BTCM program standards. 

Support risk, process and control inventories and mapping processes for Banking Operations. 

Provide coordination and support for exam/reviews, special projects, and division-wide training and communication needs as requested

Develop relationships with Risk Advisors and business units to ensure timely execution for enterprise risk program deliverables and to promote accurate and comprehensive risk management practices within Banking Operations

Qualifications

Required Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in a business-related field or equivalent education, training, or relevant work experience

Six to eight years of experience in the banking industry or relevant experience, including experience with banking operations and enterprise risk programs

Strong verbal and written communication skills

Strong time management and organizational skills

Demonstrated proficiency in basic computer applications, such as Microsoft Office software products

Preferred Qualifications:

Risk-related internal or industry certifications

High-level knowledge and understanding of risk management concepts and practices
