- Bachelor’s degree in related field
- 5+ years in food industry/food science
- Commodity food safety risk mitigation best practices
- The physical capability of working in a manufacturing environment is essential.
- Travel Required: 20-30%
What will be your key responsibilities?
- Manage crop survey and crop screening program and data dissemination.
- Analyze crop data and provide risk-based recommendations for sourcing strategies and material risk assessments.
- Optimize crop screening program to ensure efficient and effective use of data.
- Communication of crop screening trending and risks to cross functional partners.
- Cross functional project manager for grain and mycotoxin risk mitigation initiatives.
- Lead work streams to reduce mycotoxin and grain non-conformances at factories.
- Organize and lead cross-functional Grains Management Team, focusing on mycotoxin results and action plans.
- Create best practices for dissemination of grains data and recommendations to site HACCP Teams.
- Project manager for supply chain mycotoxin risk mitigation strategies.
- Partner with key suppliers to improve mycotoxin mitigation capabilities and monitoring.
- Measure effectivity of grain risk mitigation programs and strategies.
- Present strategies and key projects to senior leadership.
- Business subject matter expert for grain and grain by-product food safety risks.
