As a member of the RFID Technical Team, this role is responsible for working with our global and local operations to ensure seamless implementations to new RFID products and processes.
Responsibilities
Support the qualification of new products and processes for RFID technology
Conduct product testing and data analysis. Performs tests according to strict test processes to ensure new products meet requirements for release
Oversees testing of multiple thousands of products per week to meet development schedules
Provides timely and accurately detailed test reports and analysis
Actively participates in product review and discussion of test results and other data
Regularly collaborates with cross functional teams located both locally, and remotely in the US and EU
Establish robust processes with the product development team to ensure new products and processes are properly validated and documented
Arrange, execute, and observe while participating in the qualification trials
Identify key process parameters and document to ensure manufacturing consistency
Work with the Global Quality team to identify root causes and corrective actions, and assist with corrective action deployment
Transition best practices, lessons learned, and SOPs to other RFID sites.

Education:
Bachelor’s Degree required; Electrical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or related Bachelor's of Science Degree
Requirements
Engineering experience preferred
Experience in RFID or semiconductor manufacturing preferred
Project management experience required
Knowledge of six sigma and lean manufacturing preferred
Working knowledge of printing and converting technologies preferred
Experience with system hardware/software setup and integration
Experience with RF or microwave frequency or antenna theory is preferred
Proven leadership skills – able to influence and motivate others
High Energy, passion for excellence, bias for action
Excellent time management skills
Attention to details, ability to consistently follow detailed procedures and provide accurate and complete reports
Effective oral and written communication skills; ability to effectively present complex topics in a concise manner
Effective interpersonal skills dealing with people at various levels and in a variety of functions
Solid understanding of business issues, metrics, and customer value.
Fluent in English
Global travel will be required, up to 15%
