Job Description

As a member of the RFID Technical Team, this role is responsible for working with our global and local operations to ensure seamless implementations to new RFID products and processes.  

Responsibilities

  • Support the qualification of new products and processes for RFID technology

  • Conduct product testing and data analysis. Performs tests according to strict test processes to ensure new products meet requirements for release

  • Oversees testing of multiple thousands of products per week to meet development schedules

  • Provides timely and accurately detailed test reports and analysis

  • Actively participates in product review and discussion of test results and other data

  • Regularly collaborates with cross functional teams located both locally, and remotely in the US and EU

  • Establish robust processes with the product development team to ensure new products and processes are properly validated and documented

  • Arrange, execute, and observe while participating in the qualification trials

  • Identify key process parameters and document to ensure manufacturing consistency

  • Work with the Global Quality team to identify root causes and corrective actions, and assist with corrective action deployment

  • Transition best practices, lessons learned, and SOPs to other RFID sites.

Qualifications

Education:

  • Bachelor’s Degree required; Electrical  Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or related Bachelor's of Science Degree

Requirements

  • Engineering experience preferred

  • Experience in RFID or semiconductor manufacturing preferred

  • Project management experience required

  • Knowledge of six sigma and lean manufacturing preferred

  • Working knowledge of printing and converting technologies preferred

  • Experience with system hardware/software setup and integration

  • Experience with RF or microwave frequency or antenna theory is preferred

  • Proven leadership skills – able to influence and motivate others

  • High Energy, passion for excellence, bias for action

  • Excellent time management skills

  • Attention to details, ability to consistently follow detailed procedures and provide accurate and complete reports

  • Effective oral and written communication skills; ability to effectively present complex topics in a concise manner

  • Effective interpersonal skills dealing with people at various levels and in a variety of functions

  • Solid understanding of business issues, metrics, and customer value.

  • Fluent in English

Global travel will be required, up to 15%
