Work you’ll do

As a Senior Manager within our R&WB team you will:

  • Organize and deliver services on a cross-section of complex projects
  • Responsible for the development of business and vendor relationships
  • Lead pursuit teams focused on new opportunities and lead major aspects of the proposal development process
  • Responsible for project(s) financials including development of financial plans
  • Lead day-to-day interactions with executive clients and Deloitte team
  • Establish relationships in strategic client positions; negotiate, lead, and facilitate these relationships
  • Display both breadth and depth of knowledge regarding functional and technical issues
  • Provide counseling/coaching, leadership and support for delivery teams and staff
  • Actively participate in staff recruitment and retention activities providing input and guidance into the staffing process

  • Delivering end-to-end transformations of workforce programs, services and processes to identify, build and incent to drive success of organizations and their workforces 
  • Delivering solutions within each workforce domain: Rewards & Well-being; Performance, Learning & Career Mobility; Leadership & Teaming; Diversity & Inclusion  

Qualifications  

Required:

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • 12 years of relevant consulting or industry experience
  • 8 years in a technical or functional leadership role
  • 8 years of Rewards and Well Being experience
  • 8 years of retirement plan experience (DC, DB)
  • 8 years of experience in compensation in the public or private sector or a compensation consulting background
  • Experience mentoring and coaching others
  • Pre-sales, proposal, and RFP experience
  • Proven track record of consistently attaining managed revenue targets as well as achieving quarterly or yearly sales objectives for new business
  • Actuarial credentials such as ASA, EA, or FSA
  • Must be able to obtain and maintain required clearance for this role 
  • Up to 50% travel may be required (While travel may be required for the role, due to COVID-19, non-essential travel has been suspended until further notice.)

Preferred:

  • 8 years of retirement plan experience (DC, DB) with more than one provider organization
  • 8 years of Rewards and Well Being experience with more than one provider organization
  • Experience mentoring and coaching others
  • Proven leadership skills demonstrating strong judgment, problem-solving, organizational and analytical skills and decision-making abilities
  • Experience managing senior-level client relationships
  • Experience presenting to clients or other decision makers to present and sell ideas to various audiences (technical and non-technical)
  • Successful marketing ability in selling services to prospects and existing clients
  • Experience understanding trends in the marketplace
  • Ability to work in a team environment sharing ideas and working collaboratively
  • Excellent interpersonal and written/verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and in a team environment
  • Proficient PowerPoint and Word Skills
  • Visio, Access, and Microsoft project a plus
