Retirement & Institutional Services (RIS) Director of Client Service is a senior leader responsible for the successful execution of client service, administration, risk management/compliance activities and supervision and direction of trust activities for the Institutional Investment Management (IIM) institutional custody and trust clients. This includes direct leadership and oversight for the team of Managers, Client Managers, Account Managers and/or Account Specialists teams.
Develop, execute and grow the Institutional Custody business for the Retirement & Institutional Services (RIS) team, to include establishing short term (1 year) and long term (3 year) strategies to meet and exceed Truist financial goals and grow each business in existing and new markets. Â

1. Bachelor\'s Degree
2. 15 years or more of Institutional experience
3. Experience dealing with sophisticated/large/complex clients and leadership
4. Strong communication skills (written and verbal) and excellent presentation and interpersonal skills.
5. P&L and Cost Center Management experience as well as knowledge of trust administration, trust accounting systems and investments.
6. Well-developed analytical and problem-solving skills, including well-defined financial analysis capabilityÂ
7. Ability to delegate effectively while maintaining accountability for appropriate completion of deliverable
8. Effective time and personal management
9. Strong understanding of Retirement trends, as well as an understanding of the legal and regulatory framework in which Truist operates
Preferred Qualifications:
1. MBA or JDÂ
2. Experience with and in-depth knowledge of trust and institutional services
