The opportunity.

This is a unique opportunity to work with one of the UK’s leading multi-brand retailers who are continuously expanding their property portfolio. There is no time for hesitation as you will have the chance to really make an impact on interior fit out projects ranging from 5,000sq.ft up to a 100,000sq.ft.

JOB DESCRIPTION

The responsibility.

  • You will assist with the direction, coordination, implementation, execution, control and completion of specific projects ensuring consistency with corporate strategy, commitments and goals.
  • Successfully deliver all projects, by managing the consulting and contracting teams with effective planning and implementation
  • Assist in the definition of project tasks and resource requirements
  • Assist in the development of project programmes and overall strategy plans
  • Participate in the management of project budgets
  • Track project deliverables using appropriate tools
  • Assist in the monitoring and reporting on progress of the projects to all stakeholders
  • Participate in providing efficient and timely support to other company departments where required

QUALIFICATIONS

The Person

  • Experience in Project Management/ Contract Administration role
  • Knowledge of both theoretical and practical aspects of project management
  • Knowledge of project management techniques and tools
  • Experience in Retail Design and shop fitting is desirable but not critical
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Ability to form strong and productive relationships at peer group level
  • Ability to build working relationships across in a team environment
  • Leads by example, and is able to influence, lead and motivate others through action as well as words
  • Assertive, persuasive and self-motivated
  • Flexible and adaptable to cope with fast track projects and changing client requirements
  • Commitment to continually developing ability and skill base
  • Demonstration of good time management, focussing appropriate resources to meet client and project objectives
  • Critical thinking and problem solving skills
  • Planning, organising and decision-making
  • Qualifications- Project Management methodology I.e. Prince2, Lean, Champs etc.

IT Technical Abilities

  • Technically literate.
  • Excellent Word, PowerPoint and Excel skills.
  • Experience using AutoCad
  • Experience using Revit (desirable)
  • Experience of Microsoft Project (desirable)
