About the Team:

O2 UK operates c.450 stores which are split between company owned and franchise, and work within the Sales, Service & Retention directorate.

The UK Stores business is evolving it’s expertise as a retailer and our regional teams require dedicated support to effectively execute our trading objectives.

Our Regional Performance Leaders will align to our Regional Leaders to support them to understand their key objectives and support them in delivering their targets.

 

About the Role:

Responsible for delivering exceptional commercial performance across our c450 UK stores.

The role of the Regional Performance Leader is to identify performance opportunities and to ensure we meet our business objectives across each of the Stores within the region. The role is responsible for supporting the regional leader to deliver their trading strategy and to ensure all trading objectives are achieved

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Build strong commercial acumen, through collaboration with Regional & Store leaders, across a respective region, delivering effective and impactful commercial performance reviews in regional meetings store visits.
  • A complex and varied role demonstrating business management, performance management, customer centricity, commercial, analytical and influencing skills.
  • Support delivery of Stores Bonus schemes both operationally and strategically to ensure that it is aligned with trading objectives and customer experience
  • Business partnering with Regional Leaders in order to identify performance opportunities at a regional level and supporting the effective development and delivery of plans to seize those opportunities.  
  • Support delivering all tactical commercial opportunities and identify future opportunities across a specific region.
  • Reporting performance and using detailed sales analysis to make sure our stores are trading optimally.
  • Support the delivery of sales KPIs by driving measurable improvements across a number of levers and delivering insight driven enablers.
  • Ownership of day to day trading for your allocated stores, including reporting and updating of forecasting/trading models. Driving through initiatives to address any underperformance or achieving stretch targets.

 

What We Need from You:

  • A strong awareness of Retail Operations and Customer experience as visiting stores will become a key part of your role.
  • Commercially minded, with the ability to interpret and act on complex sets of financial/statistical data to drive the right commercial outcome.
  • Exceptional communication skills, and the ability to negotiate and build relationships across functions and organisation.
  • Be confident using your judgement to make quick decisions within a fast-paced, ever-changing environment, whilst weighing-up when you need to step back and take a more considered view.
