So… we have built this rocketship. We call it Wolt. And we’re on a mission to make cities a better place to live with the help of technology. We started in 2014 in Finland, with the customer-obsessed mindset we have now reached 23 countries with over 12M users. We are best known for our food delivery platform but from the beginning of 2021, we are on a journey to become an ‘’everything’’ app so you can get almost anything in your city delivered to your doorstep in less than an hour.
We launched in Norway in 2017 and are already operating in Oslo, Trondheim, Tromsø, Stavanger, Bergen, Lillestrøm, and Sandnes with more cities to come soon. Last year we launched retail as a new vertical, and we are currently building Wolt’s own grocery store Wolt Market. As we keep rapidly scaling we are now looking for a dedicated Retail Marketing Manager to focus on retail-related marketing campaigns in Norway.Â
As the Retail Marketing Manager, your focus will be commercializing the marketing investments with the key retail and FMCG partners, and Wolt Market - and bringing them to life for our users. As a part of the local marketing team, you will ensure success for our retail partners and the retail category. You will act as a key partner to the retail sales team while also being part of shaping the wider Wolt story in Norway. However, this doesn't just mean planning and strategizing, we are looking for someone who is willing to be very hands-on while actively growing our business and strengthening the partnerships with key retail partners.Â
What you'll be doing
Being the key person on retail marketing, being part of building Wolt Market, as well as FMCG partnerships marketing strategy and execution That includes negotiating, developing, and implementing efficient joint-marketing plans and campaigns with our key retail, and FMCG partners.
Forecasting the impact of marketing strategies on the P&L and assessing their ROIs.
Defining KPIs that aim to maximize the efficiency of the marketing spend of retail investments and analyzing the performance of campaigns.
Bringing the strategies to life, together with the wider marketing team in Norway.
Sparring with the retail sales and account management teams on what campaigns to launch together with the partners in order to take our market presence to the next level.
Ensuring that Wolt’s retail growth targets are met through owning and managing retail campaigns across the channels.
Working as a key partner to sales and account management teams to support acquiring new key accounts as well as developing mutually beneficial relations with them.
Fully fluent in Norwegian & English.
You have a proven track record as a marketing or campaign manager with a wide toolbox within marketing. Experience from within the retail and/or FMCG industry is an advantage.
Hands-on mindset with the ability to both strategies, but also execute and make campaigns come to life.Â
Proven analytical approach when using data to design, develop and execute campaigns and strategies.
You’re used to working across multiple stakeholders, from planning campaigns with partners to internal stakeholders, to agencies.Â
You are a self-starter, reliable team player with the ability to deliver results on time and successfully manage multiple projects simultaneously.
You have excellent interpersonal skills and are great at influencing stakeholders to cultivate mutually beneficial relationships.
You are structured, detailed, and service-oriented.
You have strong problem-solving skills with a bias for action and impact.Â
You have a proactive mentality - an independent thinker who can work with limited guidance but can deliver a successful outcome through grit and determination
Prior experience in a fast-moving environment with a strong focus on achieving targets and getting things done.
Good knowledge in B2C marketing, eCommerce, and branding is an advantage.
