Job Purpose and Impact

The Retail Account Representativewill participate in face-to- face and remote selling to our new and existing customers, selling directly or indirectly through various sales channels. In this role you will, with guidance, help assess customer needs and suggest appropriate products, services and solutions.

Key Accountabilities

• This role will drive sales by supporting the In-Store Experience, Grand Opening Events, Joint Sponsorship Opportunities, Promotions, and Groundswell strategies while delivering on key sales opportunities in the geography
• Help identify and contact prospective customers, building relationships to generate future sales and repeat business.
• With strong knowledge of products, their characteristics and market, sell and stimulate demand for a series of products.
• Plan daily activities, including customer visits and quantitative and qualitative objectives to achieve.
• Follow market and competition evolution, passing information to senior staff.
• Handle basic issues and problems under direct supervision, while escalating more complex issues to appropriate staff.
• Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent experience
• Availability to travel70% to local market within Rupert and Boise, Idaho
• Proven negotiation, selling skills and experience

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

• Knowledge of Animal Nutrition industry or Animal Science
• Knowledge and understanding of Salesforce.com
• Virtual selling skills
