Disney's Resort Themed Door Greeters create magic for our Guests at Walt Disney Resort® vacation experience during their stay. The Resort Themed Door Greeter will create a customized experience of the Walt Disney World® Parks and Resorts property by proactively extending a genuine warm, energetic enthusiastic welcome for our Guests through unscripted and engaging storytelling narrations. Resort Themed Door Greeters need to adapt to the ever-changing and unexpected needs of our Guests and operations to provide a world-class experience. Resort Themed Door Greeters will also assist Guests with transportation and luggage needs.
Resort Themed Greeter role receive a starting rate of $15.00/hour.
Build and maintain relationships with Guest and Cast Members from all lines of business to provide excellent personalized service to our Guests & Cast
Proactively engage with Guest by addressing needs, answering questions, giving directions and other information
Prolonged standing during peak operational hours to include indoor and outdoor settings
Passion & knowledge of Disney products and offerings
Physical role requiring heavy lifting, pushing, pulling, bending, twisting, and kneeling
Maintain discretion and Guest confidentiality
Take ownership during emergency situations
Adaptability to the fluctuating needs of our operations
Utilize a Smartphone device and various front office applications to support Guest needs
Additional Personal Protective Equipment (face shields, goggles, refillable hand sanitizers, etc.) may be required
Cast members may be required to handle cleaning chemicals and supplies
Must be at least 18 years of age to be considered for this role
Driver's license from any state
Maintain safety of our Guests while operating vehicles, including with passenger
Ability to stand for long periods of time or walking long distance throughout the resort
Knowledge of routes & roadways to destinations within the Walt Disney World Resort®, including Theme Parks, Water Parks, Resorts, and Disney Springs
Strong verbal and interpersonal communications skills
Part Time roles require full availability for any shift, a MINIMUM of three (3) days per week, including nights and holiday
Full Time roles require Full availability for any shift, seven (7) days per week, including nights, weekends, and holidays is preferred
SCHEDULE AVAILABILTY
Our Theme Parks and Resort Hotels operate 24 hours a day, 365 days a year and some shifts may start as early as 5:00am while some may end as late as 3:00am, 4:00am or 5:00am. Please note that the principles of seniority are used to schedule all roles.
