As Reserving actuary you will…

Play an important role in the construction and development of our unique and tailor-made insurance solutions, focusing on insurance statistics and production of the financial reportings of the company. You will have influence and insight in managing actuarial models, reserving and reinsurance, in a growing company. This role is broad and includes responsibilities on financial and regulatory aspects. You will also participate in the development of new actuarial and financial models in Python programming language.

Our actuarial department is divided into 3 teams with different areas of responsibilities. As a reserving actuary you will belong to the Closing and Solvency II team, consisting of 6 team members.

… a communicative and structured person with strong analytical skills. For you, delivering quality is essential. You are a quick learner, always searching for new knowledge and new problems to solve. We believe you are an open-minded and independent person, who still enjoys being part of a team.

Our wishes:

• Educational background within actuarial, mathematics, finance and/or statistics
• Very good knowledge of Excel
• Programming skills, especially Python is a strong plus
• Work experience in insurance and reserving or in financial performance analysis is preferred but not required
• Knowledge of database management (SQL, Microsoft SQL) is preferred
• Fluent in English, additional language, especially Swedish is a plus
