Duties:
The employee should conduct research within the ARCTIC-BIODIVER project, with partners in the US, Canada, Denmark / Greenland, Norway and Sweden. The project aims to understand how organism communities, food webs, and ecosystem services in Arctic lakes and rivers are changing in a warmer climate.
Qualifications:
The applicant must hold a PhD in aquatic ecology or equivalent, preferably with a profile in Arctic ecosystems and their food webs. Previous postdoc experience is a reguirement. Documented experience of how stable isotopes and/or lipids are applied in food web research, of experimental studies, and of work in Arctic/alpine environments is meriting. Good skills in oral and written communication in English are required, as well as a valid driver’s license. Great emphasis is placed on personal qualities such as good cooperative ability.
