Adobe Research is seeking computer scientists with expertise in Artificial Intelligence topics, particularly in Computer Vision, Deep Learning, Joint Language and Vision Understanding, and Media Intelligence. As a research scientist at Adobe, you will be joining a vibrant team of researchers to create the future of digital media. With the volume and velocity of digital content, the ability to provide provenance and attribution for creators is critical to ensure transparency for consumers. It’s also an important part of addressing the spread of disinformation and ultimately restoring trust in media. The Content Authenticity Initiative (CAI) team at Adobe believe that creating a long-term solution is a shared responsibility among creators, technology companies, human rights defenders and media publishers. Adobe Research are working with the CAI team to innovate cutting edge solutions to tackle robust content fingerprinting and identification, detection of manipulated content, and change summarization across a range of media types from documents, to images, to video. You will join a team creating major real-world impact to tackle the societal issues surrounding media provenance, researching new techniques with the potential to reach millions of users.
Responsibilities
Conduct cutting edge AI research in collaboration with product teams including Adobe’s Content Authenticity Initiative to tackle real-world societal problems through media provenance.
Research, develop and enhance technologies that include:
Collaborate with Adobe cloud teams to productize new Creative Cloud and Document Cloud technology features.
Partner with research teams at Adobe, including world class experts in language understanding, computer vision, deep learning, and AI.
Engage with the research community at large, including university collaborations, intern recruiting and mentorship, and publishing and participation in top-tier conferences.
Requirements
Passion for innovation and excellence.
Ph.D. in Computer Vision, Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, or related fields.
Additional expertise in one or more of the following: visual representation learning, information retrieval, semi-supervised learning, unsupervised data augmentation, fingerprinting and watermarking, visual search.
A track record of research impact, including high quality publications.
Solid software engineering skills.
