Reporting Solutions - HR Strategy and Transformations – Analyst

Reporting and Analytics is the hub for Deloitte Talent Data, helping the US and US India offices with talent data and analytical needs. The data we provide, and our consultative services are used by different groups of the firm to drive people strategy in headcount forecast, retention, hiring, compensation, learning, and resource management. As an Analyst—Reporting Solutions, you will extract, understand the data, and provide insights to Deloitte stakeholders. At Deloitte, you’ll gain exposure to entire Employee Life Cycle reporting within Deloitte and interact with business leaders, helping your career growth and professional development.

Work you’ll do

  • Configure, schedule and maintain custom reports & dashboards delivered to end users
  • Trouble shoot reporting issues and act as a first line of support for all People Reporting queries.
  • Keeps up-to-date and helps others scale-up on reporting systems.
  • Review data to detect any data integrity issues and ensure its highlighted for resolution.
  • Always adhere to prepare/update documentation to the respective assigned reports.
  • Ensure to maintain high quality standards on accuracy and timeliness of reports.

The Team

People Analytics & Reporting collaborates across Talent and the business to uncover data-driven insights to solve business challenges across the talent lifecycle and enable transformational change. Our teams provide a holistic and client-centric approach that complements our wide range of analytical tools and methods to identify valuable workforce insights which, in turn, fuels the business.

The Reporting Team develops reports and report automation solutions to manage the volume, timeliness, accuracy, and dispersal of reports to talent/business stakeholders directly and other People Analytics teams for further insights (e.g., visualizations, data science). Additionally, the team manages self-service knowledge portals, including cutting-edge technology, to deliver data and analytics "just in time" to stakeholders and leaders.

Qualifications

  • Undergraduate degree required
  •   Minimum of 1-3 years applied experience in Reporting (preferably HR) with quantitative skills.
  • Advanced Microsoft Office skills (e.g., PowerPoint, Excel, OneNote, Word, Teams).
  • Ability to analyze typical datasets, detect and correct errors, interpret and simplify results to various audiences
  • Experience designing and developing business facing and internal reports or data visualizations
  • Experience with visualization tools (e.g. Tableau) and SQL for data manipulation would be nice to have.
  • Strong problem-solving skills (e.g., understand and manage inter-dependencies and long-term implications of changes, proactivity in solutioning
  • Knowledge of technology systems and their interlinkages in order to determine the best way of data flow among them, as well as to be able to extract data using relevant extraction rules.
  • Strong attention to detail to ensure high quality deliverables.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Excellent time management skills
  • Self-starter with ability to take things to the next level
  • Outstanding project-management experience to ensure projects are on track, update stakeholders, project is structured based on interdependencies
