Lead Enterprise Applications Engineer

The Lead Enterprise Applications Engineer will have broad responsibilities administering several key enterprise technology platforms used to monitor IT infrastructure and application health & performance.

The Lead Enterprise Applications Engineer will be responsible for application deployments, configuration, integration, and maintenance as well as execution of continuous improvement initiatives. They will also be responsible for identifying and delivering on opportunities for automation.

Responsibilities

• Maintain application and system availability in the production environment and support project work as needed
• Participate in, and provide input to, project and support teams in proper deployment, configuration, and usage of the applications

• Consult with Application Developers, Enterprise Architects, and Support teams to develop optimal monitoring is in place

• Perform other duties as requested

Qualifications

• At least 5-8 years of experience managing and supporting applications in a production environment
• Experience using New Relic, ServiceNow, Azure Logic Apps & Functions, AWS Lambda, etc.
• Experience with automation and CI/CD tools such as Ansible, GitHub, or Jenkins
• Experience with scripting languages such as Node.js, JavaScript, Python, and PowerShell
• Experience with SQL query and the use of/conjuring REST APIs
• Understanding of SSL certificates, domain name/IP address relationships and network troubleshooting tools
• Customer service and team-oriented focus is required
• Ability to work on multiple project efforts at the same time is required
