In your role as Relationship Manager & Industry Advisor you will be a key team member of the Materials Sector Team within the Large Corporates department with a focus on corporate clients of the Materials industry. Our client service approach combines sector/industry specialization with regional intelligence and product expertise in order to be in the position to act as a trusted advisor for and to enter into a continuous strategic dialogue with the client's decision makers. In this role you will represent the bank as the permanent face to the client headquarters and are responsible for all client-related activities along the deal value chain for the Materials industry. You will be fully responsible for the overall financial result achieved with the defined client group portfolio and manage the associated risk, acting as a 1st line of defense for the bank. Inherent to the role is the responsibility for the definition of the client engagement and limit strategy, account planning and sales/deal tracking for the defined client portfolio. A key function is to foster cross-selling and a multi-product/multi-country approach based on a pro-active strategic dialogue with the client (i.e. trusted advisor role) in close collaboration with all relevant products, countries, risk management and other relevant internal stakeholders as well as coordinate deal teams. In your industry coverage role it is key to understand the industry and trends, growth, innovation and risk factors focusing on high business impact relevance for our region and translating this into concrete business leads and deals.

Your Tasks

• As Relationship Manager you are the central point of contact for our corporate clients and are in direct and ongoing contact with customers (top management of large domestic & international companies)• Responsible for defining the client engagement and limit strategy for the respective client groups• New deal origination, negotiate terms and conditions, finalize loan and collateral documentation in cooperation with the legal department and other internal stakeholders• Contribute to the development of the Materials industry strategy across our group• Collaboration and alignment with all relevant internal stakeholders (product, CEE countries, risk management, legal ...)• Preparation and presentation of screening notes and credit applications in the relevant committees as basis for the bank's decision makers• Financial and market analysis for respective client portfolio and management of credit risk ("first line of defense")

Your Background

• University degree / master's degree is an advantage• Thorough bank product knowledge• At least 3-4 years of experience in corporate banking or other relevant areas (currently Associate/VP level)• Confident in client situations and good analytical skills• Passion to focus on the Materials industry and to work with corporate customers• Drive, enthusiasm, creativity, and excellent interpersonal skills with a motivation to work as a team player in multidisciplinary and cross-cultural transaction teams• Facilitate trust building and common sense, open minded & a communicative personality• Strong written and verbal communication skills in English and in German, routine in negotiations; fluency in German being a prerequisite
