Job Purpose and Impact
The Regulated Entity Consultant will ensure the organization's activities follow the necessary rules and regulations and comply with legal and regulatory boundaries and jurisdictions. In this role, you will help provide compliance support to one of the organization's business lines.
Key Accountabilities
- Independently vet proposed transactions, taking into account internal guidelines as well as outside regulatory requirements to mitigate risk.
- Lead the enhancement and rule change implementation strategy for a regulatory reporting program.
- Demonstrate the ability to streamline and operationalize the effective reporting controls including identification and remediation of errors and omissions.
- Own the operational risk identification tracking and logging program for regulated entities. Work with autonomy to document issues, their remediation and recommend procedural improvements.
- Under the existing control framework, enhance and maintain a registered entity risk and control program including identification, documentation, and assessment of controls.
- Use trade data analysis to drive enhancements of the OTC swap surveillance process.
- Participate in Trade Verification and Trade Testing programs.
- Manage intake and offtake process related to oral communication recordkeeping.
- Ensure adequate monitoring is in place for oral communications.Ability to drive overall enhancements to the Cargill Derivatives & Commodities Compliance Team.
- Provide expert thought leadership in your field and work with limited direction, using additional research and interpretation to identify issues or problems. You may provide direction to supporting team members and be a strategic contributor.

Minimum Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent experience
• Minimum of six years of related work experience
