The Veterinary Hospital (Gorleston)

Would you like to work as part of an experienced and established nursing team at our hospital site?

We are looking for a motivated, compassionate RVN to join our team at our hospital in Gorleston. This is a permanent position working 40 hours a week. Our dedicated and forward thinking team comprises of 8 Vets, 8 RVN's, 1 SVN, 5 PCA's, a dispensary nurse, 7 receptionists and a cleaner.

Our hospital site includes:

• 5 consult rooms
• Separate dog and cat waiting areas
• Fully equipped pharmacy staffed by a dedicated dispensary nurse
• Separate dog, cat and isolation wards
• 2 operating theatres and a separate dental room
• X-ray/Ultrasound room
• Endoscopy/Laparoscopic capabilities
• Full in-house lab facilities

The role will allow you to fully utilise your skills as an RVN, we are a busy hospital with both in-patients and a surgical caseload. We offer regular nurse clinics and encourage our nurses to develop their own areas of interest. We are strongly focused on development within our team and would love to talk to you about your goals and support you with training and CPD.

This is a full-time role working 40 hours per week over 5 days as part of a rota, Saturday mornings 1 in 4 and a share in the weekend out of hours rota working on a 1 in 20.
