The Senior Manager Regional Sales is responsible for leading customer focused team to drive new sales and overall account growth that align with Regional and Company objectives, by executing on the strategy set by the AVP Regional Sales.  Senior Manager Regional Sales territory to include, but not limited to the assigned geographical areas of their direct reports.

The Regional Sales team is responsible for managing and growing existing accounts, as well as identifying and developing new accounts across all Dickinson opportunities.  The Senior Manager Regional Sales team will ensure new and existing customers continue using Dickinson as their preferred provider via repeat business sales and maintenance management contract renewals.

The Senior Manager Regional Sales will typically be responsible for 7-10 direct reports and their team's sales goals, as well as proper recruiting, training, mentoring and performance management.

 

PRIMARY DUTIES/KEY RESPONSIBILITES

• Own and exceed sales targets for personal and team quotas

• Work to build a team environment with strong morale, positive energy and a goal-oriented culture.

• Provide daily leadership to our Regional Sales Executives to ensure that all regional objectives are being met

• Develop regular action plans with direct reports to improve sales performance.

• Provides direct support as needed to sales staff through participation in sales calls or other related activities.

• Coach sales staff to enhance their effectiveness, holds them accountable for results.

• Negotiate deals directly and close deals as required.

• Coordinate with National Account Sales Exec to align sales efforts with operations and revenue realization plans. 

• Partner with cross functional business teams to ensure sales embraces pragmatic analytic solutions.

• Recruits, hires, and develops sales team.

• Utilizes CRM tool on a daily basis to monitor sales results and ensures Regional Sales Executives are compliant in its usage and using the tool effectively.

Qualifications:

• BA/BS degree and 10 years of experience with at least 3 years of experience in a management/leadership role; or an equivalent combination of education and work-related experience

• At least 2 years of leadership experience

• Proven sales executive experience, meeting or exceeding target.

• Previous experience as a field sales executive, sales manager or sales director

• Proficient with Salesforce and Microsoft Office.

• Excellent verbal and written communications skills

• Requires physical ability and mental acuity to execute the duties of the position successfully within required timeframes in order to meet business requirements.
