Job Description

Job Purpose and Impact

The Regional Reliability Engineer will provide technical expertise to deploy continuous improvement in process and asset reliability through the detection and elimination of defects in multiple plants. In this role, you will contribute to deliver the optimization of equipment maintenance and technical aspects of reliability engineering strategies.

Key Accountabilities

  • Deploy reliability excellence activities and identify and prioritize reliability engineering value creation opportunities.
  • Ensure the implementation of the strategic development of asset reliability centered maintenance applications.
  • Participate in technical reviews of projects and collaborate with related areas on new equipment reliability specifications.
  • Execute the identification and elimination of bad actors and the optimization of equipment availability.
  • Participate in the development, design and installation of predictive maintenance program and technology application to identify and eliminate defects.
  • Oversee specific lubrication program to ensure refinement.
  • Partner with and provide guidance to maintenance repairs and production, in reliability related processes and the identification of critical spares.
  • Independently handle complex issues with minimal supervision, while escalating only the most complex issues to appropriate staff.
  • Other duties as assigned

This Position will work from a remote home-office location anywhere in the United States.

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience
  • Minimum of four years of related work experience
  • Proven knowledge in the application of reliability tools
  • Knowledge in maintenance process management
  • Ability to travel up to 25%

Preferred Qualifications

  • Certified maintenance reliability professional or similar certification
  • Training in predictive maintenance technologies
  • Training and knowledge of management of the proactive maintenance model
