Cox Automotive is currently looking for a Regional Product Marketing Manager to join our team. This position is remote/work from home. You need to reside near Atlanta, GA, North Hills, NY, Mission, KS, Draper, UT, Dallas, TX, Burlington, VT, Wilmington, OH, Oakbrook Terrace, IL or Irvine, CA.

We seek a strategic and results-focused Regional Product Marketing Manager to help influence product design, features and functionality of the solutions into positioning/market ready messaging, statements and campaigns and deliver go-to-market strategies with a hyper focus on customer pain points and post-sale satisfaction, lead generation and sales enablement collateral for better Dealer B2B offerings.
You will be a key member of the Cox Automotive product marketing team with an opportunity to work on a diverse set of projects, working cross-functionally primarily between business operations, training, sales, legal, research, internal communications, public relations, and product and engineering teams.
The Regional Product Marketing Manager role will drive the translation of the business strategy into actionable marketing growth plans regionally. With deep insight of the registration and title landscape, automotive retail industry, customers, markets and dealer segments, this role will be critical to convert insights to action and play a role model within the business organization for profitable growth. Within a continuously changing environment of becoming more customer centric and focused, this role will be critical for influencing business decisions and become a trusted partner and key stakeholder of the regional sales team.
The successful candidate should be a master in building strategic marketing tools and methodologies (e.g. segmentation/targeting/value proposition development) and have a proven track record of successful implementations of growth strategies and projects. Critical to the candidate’s success is the ability to understand data and provide insights, uses analytics to support decision making and planning. The candidate should have solid creative and communication skills to develop and launch industry leading marketing collaterals, engagement material and marketing tools.

The person will build strong relationships with cross-functional teams to develop strategy, content, and tactics. You’ll effectively communicate the product value proposition to internal teams and agency partners to engage the right people in the best possible way to achieve results.
Job Summary:
Acts as thought partner to regional team (product, gov’t affairs, sales, account management, training).
Provides marketing strategies to support the regional goals and owns the regional marketing execution by setting clear objectives, strategies and tactics to meet the business goals. Work with regions to translate business plan goals into a defined marketing strategy for each region.
Develops regional marketing strategy to maximize leads, opportunities while supporting the effort of gaining and attaining solid revenue and market share lift in the region.
Provides in depth strategic marketing knowledge to the business growth plan including market trends, segmentation/targeting/positioning and includes competitive analysis, value-based selling and new market development activities.
Communicate marketing and segment strategies to key cross matrix stakeholders and build proper enablement materials to execute with excellence, build pipeline and drive product usage.
Stays abreast of customer requirements and trends to proactively identify new business opportunities and drive growth in the region.
Works with market intelligence to compile and analyze market position information by market segments, competition, functional substitutes and industry trends. Capture market intelligence and develop insights, share regionally and with the broader marketing team.
Together with Product Readiness, Product and Government Affairs, aligns on product launch criteria / target segments / pricing for each state within the region and setting up successful product positioning and value proposition.
Execute new product launches when new products, features/functions become available.
Identify and execute projects and programs including advertising, collateral, public relations, direct marketing, digital marketing, SEM, social media and other tactics as appropriate.
Generate lead programs for targeted products and track conversion into sale.
Writes clear and concise creative briefs and strategic messaging to drive leads to the sales pipeline and opportunities through the pipeline that includes emails, promotions, direct mail pieces, pitch decks, playbooks, talk tracks, and other marketing materials that drive business results.
Identifies regional marketing communications opportunities and coordinates with broader marketing team to align to national programs for business solution.
Supports regional events (trade shows, association events, sponsorships, etc.) as needed.
Qualifications:
BA/BS in related field and 5+ years of experience in B2B product marketing OR an equivalent combination of education and work-related experience.
Preferred Qualifications:
Excellent communication skills – both spoken and written.
Polished presentation skills, with ability to influence a wide range of partners and engage with various levels within the organization.
Outstanding follow-through, time management, and project management skills to deliver results.
Proactive, intellectually curious, self-starter, with a strong desire to continually learn and grow.
Marketing or Product Marketing experience and background with a proven track record in successfully executing programs to meet business goals and objectives.
Critical thinker who solves problems logically, using data to anticipate future needs.
Prior experience in the automotive industry; lender audience a plus.
Prior experience in a sales driven, B2B organization with demand generation experience whereby lead generation performance is measured, tracked and reported for adjustments and recommendations.
Pragmatic Marketing certified.
