Job Description

Regional IT Project Coordinator, will be responsible for providing project management, technical support, and subject matter expertise for ABM Aviation’s Parking, Taxi, and Shuttle subsidiaries located at the John F. Kennedy, La Guardia, and Newark International Airports. These duties may include, but are not limited to, the following:

  • Project Management – work with clients, port authority, and ABM to manage and support ongoing projects.
  • Technical Support – Provide technical support and guidance for ABM Aviation employees and management.
  • Network Administration – Manage and support Data and voice (VOIP) networks.
  • System Administration – Maintain and support Windows 2016 Server(s) located in JFK (Building 141), LGA (Hangar 7 South), and EWR (Building 70) locations.
  • Database Administration – Maintain and support Access Databases utilized by employees for their daily tasks.
  • Vendor and equipment procurement – Work with General Managers, ABM, and clients to negotiate contracts and secure third-party vendors and equipment

Minimum Requirements

Education:

  • High school diploma or GED required.

Language Skills:

  • Ability to communicate effectively in the English language. Ability to read and interpret documents such as government issued identification items, safety rules, operating and procedure manuals, and employee handbooks. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from managers, clients, customers and the general public.

Math Skills:

  • Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions and decimals.

Reasoning Ability:

  • Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral or diagram form.
  • Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.
