We are currently seeking an ambitious individual to join our team as a Regional Head of Employment and Payroll Taxes, EMEA, working together with colleagues to define, manage and achieve divisional business targets.

Role Purpose

The purpose of the role is to pro-actively support HR, the business lines and other functions with the management of Employment and Payroll taxes across UK and Europe, specifically including obligations associated with International Mobility and the delivery of benefits and share based remuneration.

In this role, you will:

  • Provide technical support and help drive the implementation of reward projects, compliance initiatives and risk reviews across the region.
  • Act as a point of day-to-day technical support and risk stewardship to HR across the region, specifically including advice on how to balance compliance obligations with practical delivery so that the group operates within risk appetite.
  • Support and challenge HR and the business lines to ensure that Employment Tax risks are understood and that there is a robust risk management framework in place.
  • Support business and country Heads of Tax across the region with actively understanding and addressing Employment Tax risks relevant to their area / geography.
 

Qualifications

 

To be successful in the role, you should meet the following requirements:

  • Qualified tax professional with specific Employment Tax and International Mobility experience.  
  • Effective communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Ability to work as a member of a team and influencing relevant stakeholders
