AMZL (Amazon Logistics) delivery operations are on pace to become one of the largest parcel carriers in the world. Robust process that fully leverages delivery station and driver capacities are critical to accomplishing that scale while delivering a world class customer experience.
The AMZL EU Regional Improvement Team is responsible for reducing variation to plan across all on-road planning and execution processes. The role will prioritise driver experience (XP), safety and bottom line performance. We are accountable for influencing business-critical decisions that enable scale and deliver consistent, industry leading performance within AMZL Operations. We will raise the bar on customer experience while lowering costs and supporting our rapid growth.
In this role, you will work in close collaboration with delivery partners and AMZL operators, partner to reduce variation to plan and pilot new methods & processes across EU operations to build a best in class last mile network.
To be successful in this role you will need to be analytical, able to translate business problems into scalable and tangible process improvements and an influencer capable of working effectively with senior leadership across multiple organizations and geographies. You will also need to be a self-starter, proven program leader, communicator and problem solver. You will work with cross-functional teams on complex logistics problems, deal with ambiguity and advocate on behalf of the customer.
· Bachelor’s Degree
· Experience in delivering results through leadership of teams
· Experience of complex operational, process, and performance improvement projects
· Experience across the full project lifecycle – analysis and design as well as implementation
· Excellent verbal and written communication skills
· Demonstrated experience and proficiency of hypothesis-led problem solving
· Highly analytical and comfortable with large analyses.
· Able to quickly distill down complex operating models and identify where the value and opportunity is
· Ability to operate at both a strategic and operational level
· Credible and impactful both with Senior Operational and Business Leaders as well as on the shop floor
