Job Description

In this role, the successful candidate will be responsible for the long-term growth of an assigned Region of ABM Healthcare Support Services via new sales and expansion of services.
                
RESPONSIBILITIES – ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

  • Responsible for producing new business with Hospitals and Healthcare System clients within a prescribed territory. 
  • Ability to attain meetings and professionally communicate with C-Suite, nursing, supply chain, and other key stakeholders within a major Hospital or Healthcare System. 
  • Develop targeting strategy within the prescribed territory to maximize opportunity and pipeline development to meet both short and long-term sales objectives.
  • Develop strategic relationships with healthcare leaders and high influencers within target accounts.
  • Lead and coordinate sales processes and coordinate all sales related activities throughout the targeting and bid pursuit.
  • Work collaboratively with the operations and support team to prepare pricing models in preparation for developing bids, sales presentations, and some customer service accountabilities on selected accounts. 
  • Prepare and deliver sales presentations and materials for new business pursuits.
  • Achieve sales goals.
  • Engage in trade shows and industry events to professionally and appropriately network.
  • Execute and assist in the development of vertical market strategies to grow existing business where appropriate and requested. 
  • Diligent and daily use of CRM tool to track sales pipeline, activities, and sales results.
  • Maintain and complete all process steps required to track sales activities and attain internal approvals throughout the sales process and bid submittal. 
  • Target and solicit local, regional, and national accounts.
  • Travel as needed within the region’s geographic scope to meet with potential customers, bid walks, sales preparations, presentations, contract negotiations, and all necessary business development activity.
  • Maintain ongoing clear communication with VP weekly.

  • Excellent computer skills. Highly proficient with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook.
  • Ability to drive a vehicle and meet company driving requirements.
  • Must pass drug tests and background checks Excellent oral and written communication skills required.
  • Strong presentation skills.
  • Accomplished relationship management and interpersonal skills.
  • Excellent organizational abilities required.
  • Experience in delivering presentations and working directly with clients.
  • Team strategic development and leadership experience.

Minimum Requirements

Education/Training:
Required:

  • Bachelor’s Degree.

Job Knowledge/Experience:
Required:

  • At least five years of sales experience with a demonstrated track record of success required in Healthcare Support Services
  • Preferred:
  • Experience selling to and in the Healthcare sector with an emphasis on Hospitality support services preferred.

Language/Writing/Communication Requirements:
Required:

  • Excellent organizational skills with strong attention to detail and follow up.
  • Ability to analyze qualitative and quantitative information and translate into strategic deliverables.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills.

Technology:

Required:

  • High level of understanding and working within Microsoft products, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • High level of understanding of CRM technology platforms
