DUTIES:

Assists in the installation, maintenance, operation and repair of all refrigeration equipment.

Assists in the installation, maintenance operation and repair of boiler and pressure systems.

During Freshpack, assist in defrost of tunnels and return them to full operation.

Maintains all assigned logs.

Assists in general maintenance duties.

Any other duties assigned by management.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Must have or working to complete an associates degree in HVAC/R (or related field). 

Must have working knowledge of ammonia, freon, boilers, compressors, motors, pumps, sheet metal, grease, oil and belts.

Must be aware of all safety rules/procedures for ammonia and boiler systems and be willing to follow them.

Must possess and have the ability to use all necessary hand tools.

Must be able to read, write and speak English fluently.

Must be able to operate a forklift truck.

Must be able to use mathematics for addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division.

Must be able to read, interpret and implement blueprints and schematics.

Must be able to weld and operate a cutting torch.

Must be physically capable of performing all duties.
