Job Description

As a Recruitment Medical Administrator, you will undertake professional clerical and administrative support duties regarding medical screening of Royal Navy and Royal Air Force applicants.

You will play a vital part in the administration and smooth-running of the process of recruiting appropriate talent to join the Armed Forces.

This is a permanent role based in Coventry town centre.

Job Description:

What you’ll be doing:

  • Liaising with applicants, Armed Forces Careers Offices and Medical Experts - answering queries and assisting candidates through the medical aspects of their application
  • Organising and storing paperwork, documents and computer-based information
  • Interacting with third party providers where appropriate, such as candidate, GPs, as part of medical process fulfilment
  • Co-ordination of medicals
  • Reviewing letters, Postal admin and scanning
  • Answering the phone and responding to queries

What we’re looking for:

  • Experience in Administration
  • Good IT skills using Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook
  • Previous administrative experience
  • Strong customer service both face to face and over the telephone
  • Ability to work using own initiative
  • Confident
  • An understanding of the military would be an advantage, but not essential
