Job Description
Ownership of attracting and recruiting talent at all levels from our colleagues on the shop floor to senior leaders - this role is responsible for recruiting over 15,000 hires a year across our Retail and Property Business Units. Amongst these hires are some of our most business-critical colleagues of all, our customer assistants!
Accountabilities
- Define key workforce requirements and resourcing plans to ensure a well-planned and responsive recruitment service to our operational teams
- Working with our Centre of Expertise and external partners to develop an attraction strategy to promote Retail roles internally and externally
- Review and refine our selection process to ensure we deliver a thorough process that supports our Inclusion and Diversity aspirations, providing high quality candidates who are productive and effective
- Bring market insights to craft the future plans and priorities adding new value as part of our People Transformation
- Partner with operational collaborators to understand short- and long-term requirements
- Ownership of data insights and reporting to share trends, anticipate needs, identify improvements, and drive accountability
- Partner with the Talent, Development, Transformation and HR Business Partner teams to ensure end to end delivery of our People Transformation initiatives
Skills
- Previous experience of volume recruitment, working within both agency and a fast-paced internal recruitment role - ideally with experience of recruiting for the appropriate industry sector
- Relationship Management – experience establishing, sustaining and using strong influencing skills, across all level up to and including senior leadership level
- Handling ambiguity within a large and complex environment with changing customer and supplier priorities
- Business savvy – understand the commercial imperative and being able to turn it into action
- Resilient in approach and able to influence across business areas to deliver the most effective solutions
- Budgeting and cost management
- Experience and knowledge of digital recruitment practices and recruitment technology including multiple ATS, CRM & Social channels
- Experience of supplier management, contract and performance monitoring
