Principal responsibilities
- Assist, Manager Recruitment and Onboarding (R&O) for the implementation of HSBC Sri Lanka and Maldives Resourcing strategy and ensuring all execution is aligned to the strategy
- Research and choose advertising options to expand and manage external sourcing channels
- Keeping a track of the recruitment metrics such as time to fill and cost per hire
- Build pipeline of candidates through various sourcing techniques which includes but not limited to researching the market, interviewing candidates, obtaining leads and ensure there is a measured approach at fulfilling a sustainable talent resourcing pipeline
- Conduct interviews for entry and intermediate level positions
- Ensure timely completion of employment vetting checks by the off shore vetting team and ensure the quality and standards are maintained
- Maintaining MI’s which capture the resourcing activities for HSBC Sri Lanka - and Maldives and regional reporting
- Support the R&O Team in managing group and internal audit and implement remediation action
- Take ownership of new projects and follow through
- Ensure all Recruitment and Onboarding are compliant with Regulatory and HSBC Group requirements to protect the Bank from financial, operational and reputational loss
Requirements
- Excellent communication, presentation and influencing skills
- Sound Excel knowledge
- Familiarity with using social media/networking sites like LinkedIn
- Sound analytical and interpersonal skills with an eye attention to detail
- Ability to manage Stakeholders and Third parties with a solution driven approach
- Proven ability to manage multiple issues and priorities and demonstrated judgment and poise in challenging circumstances.
