Scope of Position:
The Receiving Warehouseman is responsible to properly receive in all ingredients, materials, parts, and supplies at the plant to ensure SQF (Safe Quality Food); food safety and Quality Assurance standards. Warehouseman is responsible for the warehouse in terms of proper placement and identification of ingredients and materials; product rotation – FIFO (first in, first out). Responsible for maintaining proper records, keeping the warehouse neat, clean and organized. Must follow all OSHA and plant safety rules. Receiving Warehouseman will report to Shipping Manager.

Education and / or Experience:
High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED).
Physical Demands:
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand; walk; sit; use hands to finger; handle; or feel; reach with hands and arms; climb; balance; stoop; kneel; twist; crouch; or crawl; talk and hear. The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 70 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, and peripheral vision. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.
Work Environment:
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly exposed to moving equipment parts and high, precarious places. The employee is frequently exposed to extreme heat and cold. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate to loud.
