Conduct raw material reception duties which include physical offloading and quality control/food safety analytical testing

What are we looking for?

• Basic computer skills
• Safety knowledge
• Effective communication skills (verbal and written)
• Basic experience in food plant manufacturing (preferred)
• Full range of motion, correctable eyesight, correctable hearing, tolerance of environmental extremes (i.e. hot & cold), periodic lifting up to 75lbs maximum, color discrimination, depth perception, an acute sense of smell

What will be your key responsibilities?

• The completion of analytical testing of raw materials. This includes proper sample procurement and sample preparation.
• Ensuring the proper offloading of raw materials from trucks (bulk - liquids, grains & meals, big bags, bags, etc.) as well as rework addition
• Performing inventory of raw ingredients in bins, silos, and racks
• Performing area-related equipment first level maintenance/trouble-shooting
