Position Description:
The Launch Readiness team sits within Microsoft’s Business Operations Global Planning and Launch team and is responsible for developing and delivering Readiness content for external Operational audiences. This team ensures audiences are informed and are ready for changes Microsoft is making to a given product, program, process, or service.

The Readiness Manager will be a member of the Launch Readiness team and will be responsible for designing and executing on comprehensive readiness plans for launches across the Microsoft go-to-market (GTM) strategies through seamless collaboration with multiple groups, optimizing the customer/partner experience, and enabling time to market and time to value.

We partner with a multitude of stakeholders across Microsoft, including teams within Microsoft Business Operations, Worldwide Commercial Business, Global Partner Solutions, Finance, Customer Service and Support, and many more organizations to ensure we deliver a Center of Excellence for Operational Readiness.

Responsibilities

Responsibilities:


- Design and execute comprehensive readiness plans, both internally and externally, across multiple launches in assigned portfolio and/or Microsoft go-to-market (GTM).


- Build synergies across business stakeholders and model leadership principles to successfully manage complex readiness plans.


- Assess and deliver on impacted audience readiness needs, creating subject matter expertise for assigned GTMs.


- Collaborate and coordinate with a multitude of stakeholders and cross-functional teams in Microsoft (e.g., tax, finance, legal, business planning, operations, engineering, marketing) who produce launch readiness content to ensure successful maintenance and execution of the full end-to-end view of all readiness deliverables to enable consistent, sequenced, and comprehensive landing for a given change.


- Identify improvements to the readiness processes, workflows, engagements, responsibilities, and platforms to drive efficiencies and improvements in time, quality, and customer experience.


- Strong and continuous use of audience feedback, data analytics, and metrics to understand and measure audience behaviors driving to a Center of Excellence for Readiness.

Qualifications

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Operations, Business Supply Chain, Finance, Business Management, or related field AND  OR equivalent experience.
  • 4+ years of Operations or Process Design, and Program/Project Management experience
  • 4+ years of stakeholder management experience

 

Preferred Qualifications:

  • 4+ years of relevant business experience within Operations, Communications, Marketing, Journalism or other relevant roles.
  • 2+ years of change management experience
