The Procter & Gamble Company seeks a R&D Data Scientist (West Chester, OH) to create machine learning models using Python for a variety of applications (text, image, video, IoT etc.). Leverage advanced machine learning including Deep Learning to solve important R&D problems. Develop smart prototypes of next generation products, personalize consumer experiences and quantify our consumers interactions with our products. Use tools such as Tensorflow, PyTorch, OpenCV, and tools you create or identify to solve business problems.

Qualifications

Must have a PhD in Computer Science, Engineering or a closely related field and 2 years of work related to or academic experience in advanced machine learning methods. Work or academic experience must include: applying and scaling Analytic techniques to deliver actionable insights from data; Deep Learning (Multilayer Perceptron - MLP, Convolutional Neural Network - CNN and Recurrent Neural Network - RNN); Natural Language Processing (NLP) tasks (such as text classification, relationship extraction, or topic modelling); Support vector machine, gradient boosted trees, artificial neural networks Python programming and associated libraries (Pandas, NumPy, Tensorflow); database (such as MySQL, SQLite, MondoDB or AWS); and GitHub. Telecommuting permitted up to one day per week.
