The associate is responsible for running the stuffer and sizing machine with the use of casings.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Safety is the #1 responsibility.
• Placing casings on horns.
• Control weight, length and diameter of product.
• Hanging or stacking stuffed product.
• Dump and scrape out tubs of product
• Equipment set-up and tear-down.
• Control product quality.
• Maintain efficiencies.
• Abide by all plant GMPs and USDA guidelines.
• Responsible for any other task / duty asked to undertake by supervisor.

Specific Job Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

• Understand complete operation of stuffers and sizing equipment.
• Must be able to direct on the line.
• Must consistently carry a positive attitude and help solve problems.
• Have good communication skills with management and co-workers, departmentally and inter-departmentally.
• Know proper emergency procedures.

• Understand company policies and lead by example.
