Standen is an arts and crafts family home set in a beautiful hillside garden. Nymans was once a creative retreat for the artistic Messel family and its famous garden holds nationally significant plant collections. The estates of both are perfect microcosms of the High Weald AONB in which they sit. With wooded valleys, ghylls waterways, ponds, wildflower meadows and sandstone outcrops.
Much of the woodland is ancient and includes a SSSI. Beyond the woods we have wildflower meadows ready for restoration, sites identified for woodland creation, ponds to restore and orchards to be re-planted. The estates are compact but incredibly varied with fabulous views, places of peace and tranquillity, making the portfolio a truly wonderful place to work. The perfect place for rangers to grow their career, where no two days are the same.
