Job Purpose and Impact

The Rail Transportation Professional will help coordinate our inbound and outbound logistical operations, including inventory management, warehousing and transportation to ensure sufficient supply of goods and products. In this role, using proficient knowledge and discretion you will execute tasks and resolve more complex issues for standard modes of transport during shipments within a single country.

Key Accountabilities

• Independently collect and organize rail fleet-related information from internal and external clients and customers, and conduct computer data entry to track and document movement.
• Organize an effective system that meets the organization's inventory control needs through efficient transportation of raw materials.
• Monitor activities from receiving, locating, sourcing and optimizing inventory levels.
• Help plan and direct our fleet activities.
• Independently solve moderately complex issues with minimal supervision, while escalating more complex issues to appropriate staff.
• Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field ORequivalent experience
• Minimum of two years of related work experience
• Able and willing to work weekends based on business needs

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Rail transportation, Supply Chain and Logistics
• Experience with SAP
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite

This position will be based in Wichita, KS or Wayzata, MN
